Job Description
* Cooking food using various methods, including preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
* Creating decorative food displays.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation.
* Estimating supplies and costs, inspecting supplies and equipment, and ensuring standards are met.
* Monitoring sanitation practices and ordering supplies as needed.
* Supervising food preparation staff and demonstrating cooking techniques.
* Preparing food with attention to nutritional values and quality control.
* Handling electrical kitchen equipment properly.
* Following health and safety procedures and hygiene standards.
Applicant Must Have
* A Diploma in Hospitality Management.
* At least 1 year of full-time experience in a similar role.
* Minimum 12 months' experience in tandoori cooking and preparing curry pastes and tandoori rubs from scratch.
Annual salary ranges from $73,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and skills.
