Schneider Electric is appointing a Regional Key Account Director to lead some of our most strategic Data Centre relationships across the APAC region. This is a senior leadership role operating at VP and C‑suite level, responsible for shaping regional strategy, influencing complex customer ecosystems and driving large, multi‑country opportunities across our full portfolio.
This role is ideal for a commercially sharp, technically credible leader who thrives in complexity, operates confidently at executive level and enjoys mobilising diverse teams to win and deliver transformational outcomes.
About this role As the Regional Key Account Director, you will be the senior relationship owner for nominated strategic accounts across APAC within the Data Centre Service Provider and Colocation segments. You will define and execute the regional account strategy, lead complex solution selling and act as the opportunity leader for the largest pursuits, working seamlessly across countries, functions and business units.
You will be a visible leader internally and externally, shaping customer conversations, influencing long‑term investment decisions and positioning Schneider Electric as a trusted partner for mission‑critical infrastructure.
What you will do Build deep, trusted relationships with senior decision makers, consultants and contractors across the customer ecosystem Own and lead major regional and international opportunities end‑to‑end, from early engagement through tendering and execution Define and deploy a regional strategic account plan, aligned with Segment and Country leadership priorities Mobilise and lead virtual, cross‑country teams across sales, presales, tendering and execution to deliver winning outcomes Shape customer requirements and position Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure for Data Centers and full portfolio to maximise value Drive best‑in‑class sales governance, opportunity qualification and CRM discipline across the region
What we are looking for Proven success managing and growing large, strategic accounts across multiple countries and regions Great understanding of the data centre industry, particularly hyperscale and colocation, including technologies, commercial drivers and value chains Demonstrated ability to lead complex pursuits and influence outcomes within a highly matrixed, multicultural organisation Executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value High levels of resilience, political awareness and emotional intelligence, with a natural ability to influence without authority Significant international experience, strong commercial acumen and willingness to travel regularly across APAC
