Duty Manager Lifeguard

This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 25 hours + per week. You will be responsible for running the show during times when other managers are not on shift, ensuring staff understanding and completion of duties, supervising swimming activities, and managing incident responses.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Be second-in-charge to the Team Leader - Lifeguard, helping train and mentor lifeguards in the team.
* Ensure staff adherence to operational procedures, from opening and closing the venue to maintaining equipment and monitoring water quality.
* Take charge as the chief fire warden during emergencies, following the lifeguard supervision plan.
Your Requirements
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, maintaining composure in high-pressure emergency situations.
* High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation, and ability to maintain fitness throughout employment.
* Previous experience as a lifeguard highly regarded.
