About the role
People Services Coordinator
Part Time – 48 hours per fortnight (Until to
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
We are rolling out a new Human Resource Information System (People Plus) that will streamline the recruitment, contract, onboarding, professional development and payroll processes. In addition, Colac Area Health will be implementing a new Time and Attendance (T&A) system called OPTIMA, and moving away from the existing T&A system, KRONOS.
This role is responsible for coordinating the workflow between HR and payroll, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing. The primary focus is to address customer requirements with a friendly and responsive approach.
The People Services Coordinator provides administrative support primarily to the payroll team, ensuring that new starters are setup accurately on the time and attendance and payroll system, that all variations and leave entitlements are processed accurately. They provide a key liaison role between the HR Officer and the Payroll Officer, ensuring continuity of service.
What's required?
Essential:
* Experience with payroll systems and data processing – preferably Chris21, PayGobal
* Demonstrated attention to detail and an eye for design
* Demonstrated capacity to take direction and learn from opportunities and team members
* Clear verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with an ability to be flexible and agile when needed
* Possess strong professional ethics, including the ability to exercise sound judgement and confidentiality in relation to sensitive matters
* Proven ability to review processes and systems and identify efficiency opportunities
* An understanding of EBA's, Awards, taxation and superannuation.
Computer literacy with skills in Microsoft Office products
Desirable:
* Cert III or IV in relevant qualification and/or relevant experience working in a similar role; or willingness to undertake
* Experience with Human Resource Information Systems, preferably SAP Success Factor
