A leading organisation in the commercial services sector is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead its financial operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving financial performance, governance, and long-term sustainability in a labour-intensive, contract-driven environment.
Your new role
Reporting to / partnering with the CEO, you will firstly ensure the business has robust processes and procedures in place to support the continued growth of the business. Managing a small team, you will also have complete oversight of financial operations, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Most importantly, you will manage the cash flow and advise the CEO as to the current financial position of the business, as well as provide accurate and timely commercial analysis and insights to support business strategy and objectives. This will include tracking financial performance of clients/contracts, supporting new tenders or contract renewals and identifying cost-saving opportunities or operational efficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a commercially astute finance leader with experience in service or contract-based industries, preferably hospitality, tech, facilities management or other related services. You bring strong governance, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to managing financial operations in a dynamic environment.
