NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australia's underground coal industry. We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our night shift workshop team in Paget, Mackay.
About The Role
You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of longwall and underground mining equipment. This role is workshop-based, working night shifts with a focus on high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel structures and components for mining equipment
* Follow technical drawings and specifications
* Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with WHS and company standards
* Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics trades
About You
* Qualified Boilermaker with experience in heavy or mining equipment fabrication
* Strong welding and fabrication skills
* Able to work night shifts reliably and safely
* Safety-focused and detail-oriented
