This is a field-based position suitable for high-energy individuals who can confidently engage with trade customers, industrial clients, and workshop managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the customer base and drive revenue.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities across welding, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through face-to-face visits, phone calls, and follow-ups.
* Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions from a wide range of welding and industrial products.
* Stay up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and CRM updates to management.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in external sales, preferably within the welding or industrial equipment industry. Prior trade experience as a Boilermaker and/or welder looking to move into sales is also highly regarded. A strong understanding of product knowledge in welding consumables, tools, and industrial supplies is essential.
