THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Designer with strong agency experience who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing hands-on.
You'll work across brand identity, websites, campaigns and ongoing marketing assets. This is a practical, delivery-focused role, working closely with one other designer and collaborating daily with marketing and communications team members.
You'll be trusted to manage competing priorities, maintain design quality, and deliver work that is on brief, on time and commercially sound.
This is a generalist senior design role by nature.
As a small, high-performing agency, our designers work across a broad spectrum of design requirements, from brand strategy and identity through to websites, campaigns and day-to-day marketing assets. The role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution, thinking and doing.
You do not need to have mastered every discipline. Some skillsets may be more developed than others. What matters most is a strong foundation, good judgement, and the ability to apply design thinking appropriately across different contexts, alongside a willingness to learn, adapt and improve.
Generalist capability, curiosity and flexibility are essential. So is the ability to step in, get hands-on, and deliver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & Visual Identiy
Design and evolve brand identities, including logos, typography, colour palettes and visual systems
Create brand guidelines and scalable asset libraries
Apply brand systems consistently across digital and print
Digital & Web Design
Design responsive website layouts in Figma
Develop wireframes and page layouts using UX best practice
Design and build pages in Squarespace and Shopify (or collaborate closely with developers where required)
Design landing pages, EDM templates and digital campaign assets
Campaign & Marketing Design
Design social media content, digital ads, presentations and sales collateral
Create campaign assets across digital and print formats
Design infographics and layouts that communicate information clearly
Execution & Production
Prepare files for print and digital production
Maintain organised file structures and asset management
Ensure work meets quality, brand and accessibility standards
Project & Workflow Management
Manage multiple design projects across different clients concurrently
Estimate effort accurately and meet delivery timelines
Work within established processes and contribute to their improvement
Collaboration & Teamwork
Work day-to-day with marketing and communications team members
Execute alongside one other designer, sharing workload and standards
Participate in reviews, feedback sessions and planning discussions

REQUIREMENTS
Essential Skills & Experience
5-8+ years of experience in an agency or consultancy design role
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Strong proficiency in Figma
Demonstrated experience designing brand identities, websites and campaign assets
Solid understanding of UX principles and responsive design
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience
Desirable
Basic HTML/CSS understanding
Experience working alongside marketing and communications specialists
Experience working with regional, agricultural or complex industries
Animation and motion graphics capabilities
Photography and basic video editing skills
Understanding of accessibility standards in design

LOCATION
This is a full-time remote role. Option to work from the existing Sydney office. Must be willing and able to travel to Orange, Tamworth and Toowoomba as required.
