About the role
Jarrahdale Auto Electrics is a small family owned business located in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale. We provide mobile and our own workshop based automotive electrical services to local residents and businesses.
We want a qualified Auto Electrician to jump on board as we have plenty of LOCAL work so you can be home with family every night and no weekend work!

This full-time role is based in Jarrahdale, WA 6124 and we cover from Waroona to Kelmscott and beyond!
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair all types of electrical faults in a wide range of vehicles and machinery
Install, maintain and service electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starter motors and manufacture wiring harnesses
Perform electrical accessory installations/upgrades and modifications to meet (and exceed) customer requests
Conduct a huge range of air conditioning repairs to a massive range of cars, trucks, tractors, loaders/excavators, bobcats… everything! This is a big part of our business and adequate knowledge is a must!
Give honest and reliable customer service and advise clients on faults and/or defects
Fill out neat and accurate job sheets and service report documentation
Uphold a high level of cleanliness and care for workshop tools, service equipment and company vehicles
Adhere to all relevant safety standards and procedures
What we're looking for
Cert 3 or higher in Automotive Electrical Technology or similar
Must have a valid C class or higher driving license
Must have a current refrigeration handling license
Proven experience as a qualified Auto Electrician
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills and determination
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle and heavy machinery electrical systems
High risk licenses for forklift & ewp would be ideal
Ability to actually work unsupervised, in the middle of a paddock, under a tractor, on a 40deg day
Be polite, punctual, honest and communicate with customers professionally
Commitment to safety and quality standards
