Capel Fresh Food Market Pty Ltd are looking for an experienced and community-minded Store Manager to lead the team at Capel Fresh IGA. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their store, their people, and their community and knows how to keep operations running smoothly every day.
You are an organised, hands-on leader who takes ownership and knows how to keep a store running smoothly. You\'ll have strong communication skills and proven retail management experience.
Responsibilities
* Be accountable for store performance
* Manage all daily store operations, stock control, and team management
* Oversee store finances, budgeting, and expense control
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and customer service
* Lead, train, and support staff to perform at their best
* Build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community
* Run in-store promotions and local events to boost engagement and sales
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and company policies
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience managing a retail operation
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Financial management and budgeting skills
* Ability to work weekends and public holidays
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia
* Current Police Clearance
* Two professional industry references
What We Offer
* An annual salary package of $77,000–$85,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience
