Location: Cairns, QLD
What You’ll Do:
* Provide trauma-informed support for individuals facing AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) challenges and housing instability
* Deliver one-on-one case management, counseling, and crisis intervention
* Collaborate with community organizations, First Nations groups, and other key stakeholders
* Develop action-focused plans aimed at fostering long-term well-being and social stability

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in social work or counseling, particularly in AOD and housing support
* Strong case management, counseling, and advocacy skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* A degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
* Eligibility for AASW membership (for social workers) or relevant accreditation for counselors
* A valid driver’s license
