Job Description
As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting the clinical team, and fostering a cooperative, high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure efficiency and high standards of care
* Lead, support and develop the front office and clinical support teams
* Manage staff rostering, leave planning, and daily workflow coordination
* Deliver exceptional patient service and handle escalations professionally
* Support the clinical team to ensure smooth appointment flow and patient experience
* Monitor and manage administrative processes including billing, reporting, and compliance
* Drive team engagement, performance, and a positive workplace culture
* Work closely with senior leadership to achieve business and operational goals
Qualifications
* A confident and adaptable leader with proven experience in team leadership or practice management
* Dental or medical sector experience is preferred but not essential
* Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
* Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and supporting team development
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
* Solid understanding of financial management, including budgets, sales targets, utilisation, and P&L
* Confident using technology and open to learning new systems
