Outside School Hours Care Leader
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate leader to oversee our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of children in our care.
* Job Description:
o Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of children;
o Develop and implement engaging learning experiences that promote child development and well-being;
o Maintain a safe and supportive environment for children, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Management: Oversee daily OSHC operations, plan engaging programs, and ensure compliance with national frameworks and regulations;
* Leadership & Team Support: Lead, mentor, and manage OSHC Educators while fostering a positive team culture;
* Child Safety & Well-being: Maintain a safe, supportive environment, implementing behaviour management and emergency protocols;
* Families & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and the wider community;
* Compliance & Quality Improvement: Ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, oversee training, and promote continuous improvement;
Qualifications & Experience:
* Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field (ACECQA approved) or working towards it;
* Current or willing to obtain First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection Training;
* Ideal 2+ years in an OSHC leadership role with strong team management skills;
* Proficiency in administration, curriculum planning, communication, organization, and conflict resolution;
