Kickstart your culinary career as an Apprentice Chef in our renowned Star Culinary Institute (SCI) program.Over three years, you'll gain hands-on experience across diverse cooking styles, restaurants, and cuisines at The Star Gold Coast. 
Learn from passionate chefs, work in hot/cold production and pastry kitchens, and enhance your skills through masterclasses, field trips, and competitions. 
Bring your professionalism, passion, and positivity-we'll provide the ingredients for your success. 
The Star Culinary team is now accepting applications for full time Apprentice Chefs to join us in November 2025, just in time to settle in before the summer season. 
We are looking for candidates with: 
- A passion for culinary and long-term career in cooking 
- Good communication skills with ateam player mentality 
- A hard-working attitude and who are willing to learn 
- Natural creativity with a flair for flavour and ingredients 
- An understanding that being a chef is a way of life, not just a job 
- A commitment to completing theoretical requirements in partnership with TAFE QLD
