Established in 2000, Lloyd Brothers is a family-owned Winery & Olive Grove located in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region.
With vineyards in McLaren Vale and the cool climate Adelaide Hills, Lloyd Brothers producers a large range of award winning wines & estate produce, alongside hosting events and award winning weddings.
We are looking for a permanent, full time person to join our team to drive sales in our busy cellar door, as well as assisting in functions and weddings as required. Reporting directly to the cellar door manager and assisting the venue manager as needed, the successful candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, who has a passion for wine and gourmet produce, enjoys meeting new people and who has a warm and engaging personality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Cellar Door day to day operations, ensuring a well presented and welcoming environment for visitors.
* Conduct tasting experiences, able to reflect the premium yet approachable nature of our brand across our wine and estate produce, whilst driving sales and wine club signups
* Manage our hospitality food offerings for our Cellar Door terrace groups
* Work in a positive and collaboratively manner with our wedding and events manager, delivering exceptional hospitality experiences
* Manage phone and online enquires, including the packing & dispatching of orders
* Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food service regulations, and occupational health and safety policies
About You
* A person with a passion for wine, who enjoys providing memorable guest experiences
* Have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
* Calm under pressure, highly organised, a self-starter with initiative and capable of working independently or within a small team.
* Experience in management would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of wine varietals, styles and production methods would be a positive, but not a necessity
* Must hold a current RSA certification and a valid driver's license
* Australian citizens are only eligible for this position
