Role Description
Operating within Yalbalinga IHEU, the position enables success for undergraduate and postgraduate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at ACU by providing effective cultural, academic, and personal support services. This role is pivotal in enabling the success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in higher education.
Position Details
Part‐time, 28 hours per week continuing role at the Blacktown campus with some hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
* Play a pivotal part in enabling the success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in higher education.
* Support First Nations student success through cultural, academic, and personal support services.
Qualifications
* Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) (ACT only).
* Must hold Australian work rights to apply for this position. For permanent/continuing roles, applicants must have permanent work rights.
* Required to complete mandatory pre‐employment declarations and background checks in line with ACU's compliance requirements.
Benefits
* Total remuneration valued to $124,509 - $134,699 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $105,212 – $113,823 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7).
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed‐term staff.
* Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on commencement date.
