Key Responsibilities:
* Confirm event details with clients to guarantee accuracy and alignment with expectations.
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS through proactive communication and problem-solving.
* Coordinate all aspects of convention bookings, including meeting space, guest room blocks, food and beverage arrangements, and audiovisual requirements.
* Manage billing procedures, ensuring timely deposits and credit applications are processed efficiently.
* Conduct pre-conference meetings with clients and relevant departments to ensure clear communication and successful event execution.
* Maintain and update the conference database, ensuring accurate records of key contacts and client information.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry is required.
* Strong knowledge of sales systems and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for building strong relationships with clients.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands.
