Freight Transport Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and reliable professional to join our dynamic team as a Freight Transport Specialist.
This role involves delivering goods across the Brisbane Metro Area, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast, ensuring timely and safe transport of products.
This is a physically demanding position that requires effective time management and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HR truck and vehicle-mounted crane for delivery purposes, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
* Safe operation of heavy vehicles and equipment
* Timely delivery of goods to various locations within designated areas
* Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with all relevant regulations
* Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition
* Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring secure and safe transport
* Adhere to quality standards and company policies
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A current crane licence and forklift licence
* Extensive experience in freight transport and logistics
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
