As a
Senior Applications Support Specialist
, you'll play a critical role in keeping HCA's business-critical applications running smoothly — acting as a technical expert, problem solver, and trusted partner to both IT and business teams.
You'll be responsible for advanced application support, system stability, and continuous improvement across our enterprise platforms, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and with minimal disruption to the business.
What you'll be doing:
* Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications
* Manage and resolve complex incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
* Partner with developers, vendors, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve defects
* Support Salesforce and other integrated platforms (where applicable)
* Create and maintain clear technical documentation, guides, and knowledge articles
Let's talk about you
You're an experienced and proactive applications support professional who thrives in complex environments. You enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and working collaboratively across teams.
You'll bring:
* 5+ years' experience in application support, including time in a senior role
* Strong hands-on experience with application troubleshooting and performance optimisation
* In-depth experience with SQL Server and T-SQL scripting
* Exposure to enterprise applications and integrations (e.g. Salesforce – highly regarded)
* Experience with monitoring and incident tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Splunk
* Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments and scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
Bonus points for:
* ITIL or other IT service management certifications
* Experience with SSRS, data extraction, or reporting
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
* Experience supporting HR, recruitment, or business-critical operational systems
