As a mine surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to support mine planning and production activity. Key responsibilities include:
Performing surveys for stockpile volumes, end-of-month pickups, ore block layouts, mining as-builts, waste dump construction, and cavity monitoring.
Conducting timely pickups and preparing reports for all excavations.
Installing and maintaining survey control points across pits, ramps, crests, and toes.
Entering accurate survey data into relevant systems and databases.
Producing required documentation, including digging notes, drill and development plans, and traffic/emergency maps.
For this role, we are looking for individuals with a bachelor's degree in surveying, spatial (or geospatial) science, who have experience in an open pit mining environment. They should also possess proven and effective people management skills, be able to act as a strong and positive example to the workforce, and hold a current driver's licence.
