Overview
We are seeking a boiler maker / fabricator who has a good understanding of various metal fabrication techniques including MIG welding, TIG welding and brazing. Experience with mild steel and aluminium essential. Basic bending and forming of mild steel sections, some experience with basic machining processes i.e metal lathe & milling machine, along with a good knowledge of mechanical fastening techniques. Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metals preferred.
Responsibilities
* Apply MIG welding, TIG welding and brazing techniques as part of fabrication projects.
* Work with mild steel and aluminium, including bending and forming of mild steel sections.
* Perform basic machining processes where required (metal lathe and milling machine).
* Utilize knowledge of mechanical fastening techniques to assemble components.
* Handle ferrous and non-ferrous metals with appropriate safety and quality considerations.
