Bidfood Launceston is looking for a dependable and friendly individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver at our branch.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, values routine with a bit of variety – and takes pride in great customer service. With well‑maintained vehicles, a supportive team and a laid‑back yet professional environment, you'll be part of a foodservice network that helps keep cafés, kitchens and venues stocked and running smoothly.
You'll build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted part of their day – delivering not just products, but reliability and great service.
About the role
Each day you'll be on the move, delivering orders safely and efficiently while representing Bidfood out in the field. You'll work with a variety of customers, put stock away where needed and help uphold hygiene and safety standards. An average day will include:
* Unloading stock and placing items in customer locations
* Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and condition
* Upholding food safety and hygiene practices
* Assisting with basic warehouse tasks when required
About you
You're the kind of person who gets along with just about anyone, shows up on time and genuinely enjoys a job well done. You're confident and courteous behind the wheel and take customer service seriously – even when it's just a quick drop‑off.
Someone who enjoys a yarn with the customers is always a great fit.
Skills and experience
* MR licence is essential
* Experience with multi‑drop deliveries
* Friendly, professional and customer‑focused
* Good time management and communication skills
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
* Comfortable with manual handling and stock put‑away
