**Product Analyst** **opportunity**
- **$105,000 - $115,000 plus Super depending on experience**:

**About the role**
Our client, a government agency, requires an experienced Product Analyst to assist the Product Manager by performing analysis and providing insights on their products (e.g. pricing and performance), their clients, their competitors, and the broader marketplace. The Product Analyst will also be required to support projects and other strategic initiatives as required.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Assess profitability by analysing revenue and costs across various products, portfolios, and client journeys
- Perform pricing analysis to support the Pricing Committee
- Collaborate with Insights Manager to conduct market research
- Conduct regular competitor product and pricing assessment
- Support the Product Manager with delivery of product enhancements and new product development by conducting special analysis requests and producing presentations to support decision making
- Proactively lead collaboration with all product owners to identify and assess opportunities for new products or continuous improvement
- Proactively engage product owners across all business units and provide support on products and services
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to create product dashboards and share insights with the broader organisation
- Develops and refines product performance dashboards for measuring performance and profitability for new and existing product suites
**Key Selection Criteria**
The experience and skills you will need to demonstrate include:
- Previous financial services or professional services industry experience
- Strong mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
- Previous experience developing business cases including financial modelling and presentations (MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Well-developed communication skills (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills
- Investigative mindset with the ability to identify causation, correlation and trends
- General skills using databases and query tools (e.g., MS SQL, MS PowerBI)
- Strong presentation skills and confidence in front of senior audiences
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in a product management or data analytics discipline or equivalent experience
- Previous financial services or professional services industry experience
