Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Professional Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Professional Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supporting the Unit Manager in mitigating clinical risks.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, mentorship, and education to new and student nurses. You will also be responsible for managing client experience, ensuring optimal supply and retention of staffing resources, and empowering staff competence through continuous assessment and development.
In addition, you will assist with the effective management of operational expenses, including stock and capital. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, analyzing and interpreting data, and providing basic life support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Nursing Record Keeping: A strong background in nursing record keeping, including pharmacology, nursing processes, and procedures.
* Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software.
* Risk Identification: Ability to identify and mitigate risks in a healthcare setting.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and interpretation skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* Mentorship: Experience in mentorship and education of new and student nurses.
* BLS Training: Certification in Basic Life Support.

This position requires a Professional Nurse qualification and Postgraduate Diploma in Operating Theatre. You must have 3-4 years of Professional Nurse experience in a similar environment and 1 year of mentor experience. Preference will be given to candidates with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS training.
