 
        
        **About the role**: 
We are currently seeking a CHPP Maintenance Supervisor at our Wambo Mine. Our Wambo mine complex is a combined open-cut and underground mine located 30kms west of Singleton that produce metallurgical and thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, you will safely and efficiently lead an established crew of trades to deliver the maintenance plan in line with business priorities.
**Duties will include**:
- Demonstrate safe behaviours and provide leadership and guidance to a team of CHPP Maintainer/Operators 
- Assist in the development of operational and maintenance procedures for the CHPP 
- Ensuring compliance with operational and maintenance plans and procedures 
- Ensure that CHPP safety, production and maintenance targets are met 
- Responsibility for overall delivery of CHPP maintenance plans and plant availability. 
- Identify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities 
- Operate the CHPP & mobile equipment as required to meet operational requirements 
- Lead scheduled maintenance days to ensure safe and timely delivery of shut down objectives 
- Monitoring Contractor activities and ensuring compliance to health & safety management system 
- Conducting performance reviews of CHPP Maintainer/Operators
**The lifestyle**: 
This position is offered on a day shift Monday to Friday roster. The position is suited to a residential lifestyle in nearby Singleton or the Hunter Valley/Newcastle surrounds.
**About You**:
- Be committed to high standards of integrity, safety and performance 
- Ideally 3 + years' experience in a similar role in a CHPP environment 
- Ability to be an inspirational leader and have a positive impact upon your team 
- Strong knowledge of coal processing and an understanding of key drivers of a CHPP 
- Trades based preferred 
- Competent in a CHPP production environment including the operation of equipment is desirable 
- Cert IV in Frontline Management or similar is desirable
