The role:
1. We are seeking motivated Education and care Practitioners who are committed to deliver a quality play-based program that supports children's learning, development and wellbeing in Long Day Care.
* Education and Care Practitioner role, Level 2B on our Enterprise Agreement

In this role, you will:
* Uphold the safety, rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment, abuse and neglect.
* Provide meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and growth.
* Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
* Create engaging and welcoming room setups that promote exploration and learning
* Document and reflect on children’s learning and development
* Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships, share insights about children’s learning, and ensure continuity between home and the service.
* Commit to your own professional growth and development
* Always work in line with Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s policies, procedures, and the National Quality Framework

What you’ll bring:
* An ACECQA-approved cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma in Early childhood Education.
* Previous experience in a similar early childhood or long day care role.
* A strong commitment to child safety and upholding safeguarding practices at all times.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team
* Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), with willingness to learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in daily practice
* A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services)
