This is a 3 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency. Eneabba Primary School, 280km north of Perth on the Brand Highway, caters for 15 children from Kindergarten through to Year 6. The Role
The Upper Primary Teacher will teach students from Years 3 to 6 of various academic levels. Primary school trained teachers with exceptional experience in teaching Literacy and Numeracy, and the ability to create engaging, hands-on lessons are encouraged to apply. The role requires exemplory teaching skills, motivation to excel, and a commitment to best practices within a whole-school, connected environment with ongoing professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging literacy and numeracy programs for students in Years 3–6.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and use a range of assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future planning.
- Contribute to whole-school practice and collaborate within a team to support student learning.
- Leverage high-impact teaching strategies and implement hands-on, engaging lessons.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
