JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. You will oversee the kitchen team in the preparation, production, and service of food, ensuring that all kitchen areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position requires commitment to excellence to deliver high‐quality meals consistently.
THE ROLE
* Salary of $116,462 + 12% Superannuation
* Work a 14:7 roster (living/working on site for 2 weeks, committing to 12‐hour days, and having one week at home)
* Fly from Perth and be transported to one of our villages in WA

ABOUT YOU
* Australian recognised Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or an NVQ Level 4 and City & Guilds accepted trade certificate
* 5+ years post‐trade or commercial cooking experience
* 2+ years experience supervising and managing a team
* Demonstrated expertise in high‐volume bulk and batch cookery (FIFO experience highly desirable)
* Understanding of and adherence to workplace safety and compliance standards
* Working knowledge of ordering, storing, preparing, and delivering food with attention to detail
* Experience in Workplace Health & Safety requirements including HACCP principles
* Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship not available)
* Confidently pass a pre‐employment medical (for safety in remote conditions)
