Our operations span from Busselton in the south, through the Midwest and goldfields, up to Karratha in the Pilbara.About the RoleThis role will report directly to the Commercial and Estimating Manager along with supporting the estimating and tendering team of Bennco Group.
You'll be self-motivated and a dedicated team player who will enjoy providing timely and high-quality estimating and tender bid submission perpetration for to a growing business.
As Construction Estimator you will be flexible and responsive, advising and assisting on a range of estimating and bidding to the team and wider company.Position Requirements:Experienced in all aspects of Commercial Estimating desirable: Building & construction, Refurbishments or renovation, Service installation and Minor civil worksExperienced in tender bid presentationAbility to develop tender schedule/programmeEfficient in developing and execution of sub-contractor packagesProven 5+ years experience in estimating (or similar)Skilled in quantity take-offs with a digital plan reading softwareProficiency in estimating software(Simpro) or other, Microsoft (Excel) and Adobe ProKey responsibilities:Interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specificationsPrepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costsConduct site visits to gather data and assess project scopeLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingEvaluate project risks and develop contingency cost plansPrepare and submit tender documentation and bid proposalsTrack actual costs and compare against estimates throughout the project lifecycleMaintain a database of cost-related information and historical dataCollaborate with project/construction managers, supervisors, and clients to refine estimatesStay updated on industry trends, building codes, and recent materialsUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
