The Opportunity
As part of continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, this business is seeking a talented
Estimator
to join their pre-construction team. You'll play a pivotal role in preparing competitive and accurate estimates that underpin project success across a diverse portfolio of work.

The Role
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
* Reviewing project briefings, architectural drawings and specs to determine full scope of works
* Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates across commercial, institutional and mixed-use construction projects
* Sourcing, analysing and coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
* Preparing tender submissions, trade breakdowns and comparative schedules
* Performing value engineering and cost-control analysis in collaboration with design and delivery teams
* Maintaining and developing estimating databases, unit rates and local market intelligence
* Supporting post-tender reviews and bid presentations as required
About You
You Will Ideally Have
* 3-7+ years' experience in estimating, quantity surveying or commercial construction roles
* Demonstrated experience estimating commercial or mixed-use projects, between $5M and $30M in value
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, trade packages and cost drivers
* Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft) and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a high level of accuracy
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
