Job Description
We have up to 50 positions available for harvest workers on vegetable farms in North Hobart, TAS. Work is due to start September 2026 and is expected to go for 9 months. You will be paid as a Level 1, Casual Employee under the Aquacultural Award 2020 (MA000114).
Hourly or Piece Rates may apply. There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Aquacultural Award 2020 (MA000114). The position is for a harvest worker on a vegetable farm and will include but not limited to tasks such as picking and planting vegetables.
This position requires the availability for shift work over a 7-day roster. Minimum of 30 hours a week, 6.30am-3.30pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business. Please note that random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted.

* Ability to follow detailed instructions
* Ability to work continuously at a high level of concentration
* Must be physically fit, agile & able to stand for long periods
