Thirty Four Café is a vibrant, high-volume café known for its modern menu, quality coffee, and warm community vibe. We're on the hunt for a driven, reliable, and passionate Full-Time Chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent food.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and executing high-quality breakfast & lunch service
* Working closely with the Head Chef to maintain kitchen standards
* Contributing to menu development, specials, and seasonal updates
* Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety standards
* Training and supporting junior kitchen staff as we continue to grow
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years experience in a similar chef role (café or restaurant)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive attitude and high level of personal presentation
* Ability to thrive under pressure during busy service
* Commitment to consistency, quality, and speed
* Essential experience with café and breakfast menu preparation
* Proven experience working in a busy café environment
As a full-time chef, you'll work 5 days per week with 2 days off. We're flexible with which days you take off, but ideally, we're looking for someone who can be available on weekends, as these are some of our busiest and most important service days.
