We are partnering with a growing organisation that is investing heavily in its security and monitoring capability and is now looking to bring a Cyber Security Integration Engineer into their team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong networking or infrastructure background who has had some exposure to security tools and operations and is keen to build a long-term career in cyber security.
Rather than focusing on policy or compliance, this is a hands-on engineering role working across networks, systems, cloud and security platforms to improve visibility, detection and response across the environment.
What you'll be doing
You will play a key role in connecting data across the environment into a central security platform, helping the organisation see what is happening, detect threats and respond faster.
Your responsibilities will include:
Integrating network, endpoint, cloud and security tools into a central monitoring and SIEM platform
Ensuring reliable log collection, data quality and alerting
Working closely with network, infrastructure and security teams to support incident response
Helping improve visibility, detection and operational security processes
Supporting the ongoing growth of the organisation's cyber security capability
This is a build-and-integrate role rather than a purely analytical SOC position.
What we're looking for
We are deliberately keeping this broad — strong engineers from infrastructure or networking backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
You should have experience across most of the following areas:
Enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, network troubleshooting)
Servers, endpoints or cloud platforms
Operational IT environments (incident response, outages, troubleshooting)
Some exposure to security tooling (e.g. SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS, vulnerability tools, log management)
