With an exciting immunology product, they are entering a phase of growth following the successful launch of a breakthrough psoriasis treatment and are now in the launch phase for a severe and debilitating dermatological disease.
As part of the Medical Affairs team, we are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison based in VIC who will play a key role in establishing scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals across Dermatology in VIC/TAS/SA & WA.
Reporting to the National Field Medical Lead, your responsibilities will include:
* Identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics to drive new sources of patient value
* Support and execute medical strategy and launch activities across VIC/TAS/SA/WA
* Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, Dermatologists and relevant healthcare professionals
* Use strong scientific data and clinical insights to build advocacy and support education initiatives
* Assess feasibility and strategic alignment of unsolicited investigator-initiated studies and facilitate submissions into global review committees
* Manage symposiums, speaker training and advisory boards
* Maintain the highest level of knowledge across disease states, products and competitor activity
* Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial and medical teams to support launch excellence and patient outcomes
The successful candidate will have:
* Degree qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing or related Healthcare field
* PhD, Masters or Honours qualification highly regarded
* Previous pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs
* Strong scientific acumen and ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data
* Experience or exposure within Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology or related specialty areas highly regarded
* Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management capability
* Willingness to travel as required
