Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Engineer to provide technical support and maintain the organization's computer systems.
Salary Range:
A$35.00/hr - A$40.00/hr
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level IT support, including desktop, server, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Support with desktop support, server support, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
* Perform diagnostics and upgrades for Office 365, hardware, and building/upgrading PCs.
* Manage Active Directory (users, mailbox management) and support operating systems (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and others).
* Hardware repair, installation, desk-side support, and service desk support.
* Provide support for laptops, desktops, and monitors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in technical support, fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
* Experience with desktop, server support, hardware, network, and software troubleshooting.
* Essential experience with Office 365 in a corporate environment.
* Supporting a Windows and Linux environment, both physical and virtual.
* Active Directory management.
* Operating system support for Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and others.
* Support for Office 365, Outlook, Exchange, and critical business applications.
* Complex software installation and troubleshooting skills.
* Network troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis.
