Overview of role: This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate, reliable asset data that supports operations, planning, and decision‐making across the business. You'll work closely with internal teams and service partners to ensure asset records are complete, structured, and aligned with business standards—supporting everything from project handovers to financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update asset records within the Asset Information Management System
* Support asset lifecycle activities (creation, modification, disposal, commissioning)
* Assist with project handovers and asset capitalisation processes
* Identify and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies
* Support contract reporting and performance monitoring
* Contribute to asset data governance, audit, and compliance requirements
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve data quality
About you:
* Experience in asset data, asset management, or data administration
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Ability to analyse information and identify inconsistencies
* Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Understanding of asset lifecycle processes and/or GIS (desirable)
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3 $76,848 - $90,097 plus super salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
