Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Strategic Content Plans: Design effective corporate communication strategies and organize initiatives to effectively communicate the organization's story.
* Provide Expert Advice: Offer strategic guidance on communications issues, technologies, and opportunities.
* Identify Areas for Improvement: Analyze communications activities and explore new ways to tell compelling stories.
* Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with team members to enhance media and communications activities and identify publication opportunities.
* Build Relationships with Key Media Outlets: Establish relationships with mainstream media and key publications to promote organizational stories.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Degree qualification in media, publishing, or communications, or equivalent experience and education.
* Demonstrated background in media and journalism, preferably in higher education.
* Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills to achieve high-quality outcomes.
* Self-Motivation and Leadership: Proven self-motivation and ability to work independently to lead communications projects.
* Deep Understanding of Communications Professions: Excellent understanding of the media, publishing, and communications professions.
* Multifaceted Skills: Skills in high-level writing, video production, design, layout, and publishing using various technologies and platforms.
* High-Level Computing Skills: High level computing skills with proficiency in MS Office suite, including videoconferencing.
