Job Description
The Risk Management and Internal Audit Division of the Northern Territory Government is seeking a skilled Senior Auditor to lead the development and delivery of high-level governance and compliance across the Department.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing internal audit programs, conducting thorough audits and reviews, and preparing clear and actionable reports.
The Role
* Conduct risk management planning to identify, investigate, and report on governance-related matters.
* Develop and implement effective controls to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and strengthen governance across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven understanding of governance issues and their application in an organizational setting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively express ideas.
* Well-developed strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, supported by high standards of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
* Ability to build and maintain effective networks with various stakeholders to link governance activities to departmental objectives.

This role offers attractive remuneration package including 6 weeks recreation leave, 3 days Christmas closedown leave, 3 weeks personal leave, up to $1,724 leave loading per annum, and 12% superannuation.
