Group Tax Manager
Perigon Group is a respected, forward-thinking organisation operating across multiple global jurisdictions.
The newly created Group Tax Manager role is a 12-month contract and is part of an exciting period of growth, continuous improvement, and a high-performing, future-ready finance function.
The Role
This role will lead and support finance compliance activities across a diverse, multi-brand environment.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong Group Tax Manager who thrives in complexity, enjoys driving process optimisation, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to deliver high-quality compliance outcomes, enhance systems and automation tools, and champion best-practice standards across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Manage timely and accurate preparation and lodgement of regulatory reporting requirements, including BAS, GST / VAT, PAYG I & PAYG W, FBT, royalties, and payroll tax across all Australian states.
Support tax and financial reporting obligations across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, ensuring alignment with IFRS, AASB, and GAAP.
Maintain global WorkCover and Payment Times Reporting Scheme compliance.
Administer and optimise monitoring and automation tools (e.g., FloQast), ensuring strong reconciliation, approval, audit trail, and exception reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with intercompany transfer pricing frameworks and prepare required documentation.
Lead the harmonisation of group-wide financial and tax compliance policies across all brands.
About You
CPA / CA qualified (or equivalent).
Minimum 5+ years' experience in tax, finance, or compliance roles within a complex organisation.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, AASB, and GAAP reporting frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across brands and external stakeholders.
