My client is a Freight Forwarding organisation with an international and domestic presence. Due to business growth my client is looking for a Customer Service and Sales Support team member with freight forwarding experience for their customer services and account management team.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position offers realistic flexibility and a blend of home and office if you require it. This role would be suited to someone with a Freight Forwarding background who is ideally looking to start in a ground up role with great advancement opportunities within a large organisation
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of monthly rate cards for customers using Cargo wise 1 and Excel
- Management of data entry of client rates into CargoWise 1.
- Management & delivery of spot quotes for existing customers.
- Communication with internal overseas & domestic offices in order to source and update rates.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- **Freight Forwarding and/or Cargo wise 1 experience is Essential**:
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel
- Experience with rates, pricing and margins.
- Can do attitude and methodical approach
- Good administration skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
