Geology Manager | Victoria | Underground Gold OperationA senior leadership opportunity is now available for an experienced Geology Manager to join a well-established underground gold mining operation in regional Victoria. This position plays a critical role in delivering sustainable gold production by providing geological leadership across exploration, resource development, and mine geology functions.Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving geological strategy and technical excellence while fostering a strong safety culture, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with legislative and corporate requirements. This role requires a confident and forward-thinking leader who can balance operational demands with long-term growth objectives.Your remit will span the full geological lifecycle – from resource modelling and grade control through to QA/QC, reconciliation, tenement administration, and contractor oversight. You’ll work cross-functionally with mine planning, metallurgy, and HSEC teams to ensure geological inputs support overall site performance.You’ll lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of geologists and technicians, oversee reporting and statutory compliance, manage drilling programs, and continually refine geological systems and processes. Budgeting and cost control will form part of your commercial responsibilities, along with driving performance and professional development within your team.To be considered, you will need a tertiary qualification in Geology, current or eligible Competent Person (CP) status for JORC reporting, and at least 10 years of experience within the mining/resources sector—preferably in underground gold.
