An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health Information Services (HIS) team in a fixed‑term role providing essential support to the maintenance, storage and movement of medical records. The Position: Over the next 12 months, the HIS department will undertake a major project to prepare and move medical records offsite, and this role will support the culling, preparation, archiving and physical movement of records. The Archives / Administration Support Officer also provides general administrative and customer‑service support, including reception and telephony duties, data entry, scanning forms into the EMR, and filing, retrieving and tracking medical records. The role contributes to pre‑admission and admission processes and may assist with sending approved medical information to other health services as required.
