The Role
This is a dual-function position, combining bench jewellery work with administrative and workflow management responsibilities within our custom jewellery manufacturing business.
You will split your time approximately 50/50 between the workshop and the office, supporting both hands-on production and the smooth coordination of jobs from start to finish. This role is critical to maintaining quality, efficiency, and clear communication across the business.
Bench Jewellery Responsibilities
* Carry out jewellery manufacturing and repair work to a high standard
* Assist with custom jewellery production alongside senior jewellers
* Maintain workshop organisation and adhere to quality control standards
Workflow & Administration Responsibilities
* Manage the flow of custom jewellery jobs through the production pipeline
* Liaise with customers, jewellers, suppliers, and internal team members
* Monitor job progress and ensure deadlines are met
* Respond to emails and incoming calls professionally
* Prepare and process invoices accurately
* Coordinate and dispatch outgoing parcels

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A completed jewellery apprenticeship (essential)
* Strong bench jewellery skills and workshop experience
* Confidence with IT systems and general computer use
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* A proactive, motivated approach with the ability to multitask
* Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Clear, professional communication skills
Preferred (but not essential)
* Experience with CAD software
* Experience using Xero
* Previous jewellery manufacturing workflow or production management experience
* Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
