We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide short-term accommodation and support to young people aged 15 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing case management support, developing individualized plans, and connecting clients with community services. You will work collaboratively with our Program Manager to ensure the highest level of care and support.
The Salvation Army (Salvos) Youth Services provides a range of programs and services that focus on prevention, early intervention, and holistic care. Our goal is to empower young people to reach their full potential and live independently.
Your Impact
* You will establish strong relationships with young people and stakeholders to enhance outcomes.
* You will encourage self-determination and participation of each individual.
* You will facilitate connections to service and the wider community.
* You will develop individual case plans in collaboration with clients.
* You will provide case management support in accordance with contractual requirements.
Your Qualifications
* Able to fulfill own work obligations with little supervision.
* High-quality written, oral, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to interpret and follow policies and procedures.
* A valid driver's license.
* A valid Working with Children Check.
