About the role
Are you an experienced truck driver looking for a role with a leading freight and logistics company? FNQ Freight and Logistics is seeking a motivated and reliable Truck/ Forklift Driver to join our team in Cairns, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate trucks
* Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of freight
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
* Load and unload freight, securing loads appropriately
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and other stakeholders
* Adhere to all relevant safety policies, procedures, and government regulations
What we're looking for
* A current Heavy Rigid (HR)
* High Risk Work Licence with previous experience operating a forklift
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a truck driver
* Knowledge of load restraint and safe driving practices
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* A commitment to safety and a demonstrated history of safe driving
