Key responsibilities
* Work cohesively in a small team.
* Manage time through effective planning to maintain a high level of productivity.
* Work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Motivate team members through positive behaviour.
* Maintain high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, punctuality and organisation.
* Participate in and reinforce cost controlling and waste management of food.
Requirements
* Minimum qualification of Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery completed.
* Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Previous experience in a hotel, pub or restaurant.
* Full Australian working rights.
* Motivated, disciplined and a strong passion for food.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
* Understanding of industry standard hygiene practices.
