WTAC Commercial are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Heavy Earthmoving and General Fabrication in our Boulder workshop. The Workshop Manager will ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of WTAC's trades, related personnel, equipment and quality of workmanship. They will oversee activities performed by employees under their control and provide support and assistance where required. This includes organising planning and tracking work schedules and costs, quoting on workshop work and liaising with clients.
The successful candidate will have the following;
Qualifications/Experience
* Australian Trade Qualification in Fabrication and/or Welding.
* Current Australian Motor Drivers Licence – Minimum C Class.
* Experience in Heavy Earth works and General Fabrication
* Right to work in Australia.
* Must live in Kalgoorlie-Boulder
Knowledge
* Experience managing employees in a similar environment.
* Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment.
Skills
* Strong customer focus and team orientation.
* Understanding and acceptance of personal accountability for Work Health and Safety in the workplace.
* High level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage human resources to ensure team productivity is maintained.
* Ability to plan and organise with respect to key responsibility areas.
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
