A bit about your role
As Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice that supports nbn's strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. You will work across a diverse portfolio in the Legal and Regulatory team, including treasury, corporate reporting, property, sustainability, governance and general corporate legal support, offering clarity and confidence in complex matters. Your role will involve managing legal issues, supporting negotiations, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver outcomes that balance commercial priorities with legal integrity.

A bit about you
The successful candidate is a legal professional with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience gained in a corporate environment or a mid‑to‑top‑tier law firm. You combine strong technical knowledge with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach, and you are confident navigating complex issues with precision. You thrive in collaborative environments, building trusted relationships and engaging with stakeholders in an inclusive and responsive manner. Your mindset is proactive, adaptable and you are committed to raising standards and sharing knowledge within your team. With clear communication and the ability to balance commercial objectives with compliance, you will help nbn deliver on its purpose and long‑term vision.
