Job Description
o Managing procurement projects within the ICT Professional Services category
o Developing and implementing category strategies
o Explore opportunities with suppliers to introduce Gen AI
o Building strong relationships with suppliers
o Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure best value
o Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues
o Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth implementation of projects
o Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
o Delivering best value of cost and delivery for the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
o A proactive approach to supplier engagement and understanding your market
o Strong negotiation skills
o Excellent understanding of procurement processes and strategies
o Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
o Be inquisitive for the use of Gen AI in your services that your procure
o Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
