This is a full-time on-site role for a mid-senior FF&E Designer located in Brunswick East. The role involves space planning, creating construction drawings, designing interiors, and selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Qualifications and skills required:
* 5+ years of interior design and FFE experience, ideally in hospitality.
* Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
* Strong FFE Design experience, including some experience with lighting design requirements.
* Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experienced in Revit
* Proficiency in specification software knowledge, ideally Specsourcesor similar
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Motivated and eagerness to learn
* Imaginative and creative thinking skills
Responsibilities
* Work with Project Lead to met client brief, as well as the type and style of the overall design narrative.
* Coordinate projects to produce and deliver a design solutions for finishes, fixtures, equipment and furnishings.
* Source unique and appropriate items for projects
* Manage information in an organised manner for all to access
* Provide construction documentation knowledge and drawings to office.
* Assist team in building presentations, selections and documentation for program deadlines
* Coordinate and organise studio library.
* Recognition of birthdays and personal milestones
